Chelsea sign Marcos Alonso from Fiorentina
Chelsea have re-signed Brazil’s global defender David Luiz from Paris Saint-Germain on a three-year contract, the Premier League club announced on Wednesday.

Luiz moved to the Parc des Princes from Chelsea for £50 million in the summer of 2014 and started all four of the French champions’ competitive fixtures so far this season. Chelsea have closed in on Brazilian defender David Luiz, after the London-based club agreed terms with Paris Saint-Germain for his transfer.
Oscar has welcomed back David Luiz to Chelsea following the defender’s £32m move on transfer deadline day from Paris Saint-Germain.
But with his position at PSG under threat from compatriot Marquinhos, new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has brought him back to Stamford Bridge for a reported fee of 32 million pounds. I can not wait to wear the shirt and play at Stamford Bridge again.
The fee Chelsea are paying to bring Luiz back to Stamford Bridge is a fairly hefty £34 million, and his signature follows hot on the heels of another deadline day arrival – namely that of former Fiorentina fullback Marcos Alonso.
He made 143 appearances, scoring 12 goals, before his record-breaking switch to PSG.
Brazilian defender David Luiz says he wants to fight for more trophies with Chelsea.
That being said, the South American did taste European success on two occasions during his first three-year stay with Chelsea, clinching the UEFA Champions League in 2012 before adding the UEFA Europa League a year later.
Luiz returns to Stamford Bridge on a three-year deal.
“Of course I want to win the Premier League and of course I want to win all the titles again”.
“I’m very happy to be here again”, the 29-year-old told Chelsea TV.
