Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao suffers injury setback
“For me it’s not just a goalkeeper and 10 outfield players; it’s also that we have potential good players until the 14th or 15th man. When they are needed we’ll put them in the lineup”.

Beginning with the striker role, he is able to call upon the services of Diego Costa after suspension which is especially important as Loic Remy is an injury doubt and Ramadel Falcao is out.
“He’s (Fabregas) coming in with a smile, and that’s what I always like when players do that”.
Montreal have already admitted that Drogba’s future is out of their hands in a series of messages posted on Twitter shortly before Christmas that read: “We are now in contact with Didier Drogba and Chelsea FC”.
“We had him in a [training] game and all of a sudden he got again an injury he has had before”, Hiddink revealed.
The Aston Villa manager, Remi Garde, went public yesterday to claim he would attempt to secure his compatriot on loan, describing Remy as a “special” player.
However, with a host of high profile players, such as Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and, well, basically every Chelsea player except Willian underperforming, Falcao has fit right in.
“There’s no preferred role but it depends on the strengths of the opponent in midfield, whether we choose a more attack-oriented player or defensive-oriented player”.
‘When you look at the goals conceded, that’s not just our defence that is not good enough. It might be on the coaching staff, or ambassador… that’s a bit more of an official function for me.
Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink praises his side’s effort against Manchester United and their ambition in their last three games.
Square one That has left Falcao back at square one, with weeks of rehab and extensive work on his fitness ahead.
Hiddink does have an extra striker in his ranks now that Patrick Bamford has cut short his loan spell at Palace because of a lack of playing time.

He said: “Normally you see teams like Leicester or Palace or Watford starting surprisingly well – let’s say until the leaves are going to fall – and then they will have some problems”.
