Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado ‘to join Juventus on loan’
Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta confirmed Sunday that not only has the defending Serie A-winning side made an approach for the 27-year-old, but that the completion of a deal to bring the Colombian winger back to Italy is imminent.

While many thought that Cuadrado would be a great signing for Chelsea, the 27-year old struggled for regular first team football at Stamford Bridge and it was widely believed that the Colombian would be set for a swift exit from the club this summer.
Cuadrado moved to Chelsea from Fiorentina in February for around £23million, signing a four-and-a-half-year contract. “Only six months ago, he was bought for €35 million and today this opportunity arose and we’ve seized it and we hope to finalise it tomorrow morning”.
“He’s going to join on a season-long loan”, Marotta said.
“It was discussed and agreed with [manager] Massimo Allegri”.
Juan Cuadrado has reportedly been offered a way out of his Chelsea nightmare by Italian champions Juventus, who are on the verge of signing the Colombia worldwide on loan without an option to make the move permanent.
“We want to give (Massimiliano Allegri) the best possible players to work with. We’ll see. It’s hard, but the market is open until August 31″. We will see the opportunity but, at the moment, there is veto from Schalke.

But Cuadrado has found playing time limited in west London.
