Cheryl professes her ‘love’ for Jennifer Aniston following her heartfelt pregnancy essay
“I’m fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of “journalism”, the “First Amendment” and “celebrity news”, she wrote”.

Aniston writes that the message young girls are given is that they are not pretty unless they are incredibly thin, and that celebrity “news” has helped to perpetuate “this dehumanising view of females, focused exclusively on one’s physical appearance, which tabloids turn into a sporting event of speculation”.
“The reality is”, she writes in what she calls as her first statement like this, “the stalking and objectification I’ve experienced first-hand, going on decades now, reflects the warped way we calculate a woman’s worth”.
While we think the Friends star’s points are valid, she seems to be forgetting that she has appeared on at least a half dozen magazine covers wearing unbuttoned shirts that expose her breasts, she’s the picture of perfection in her SmartWater ads, and she’s given countless interviews about her diet tips to media outlets.
The blog, titled “For the Record”, explained that she is not pregnant.
ACTRESS JENNIFER ANISTON, best known for her turn in Friends, has slammed the USA media and paparazzi for their intense speculation over her body.
Jennifer’s essay comes weeks after reports said that she was pregnant, based on photos of her at the beach in a bikini.
Who has sold more tabloid magazines over the last fifteen years than Jennifer Aniston?
You can’t help but feel sorry for Jennifer as she laments the constant dissection and subsequent judgement of her personal-life decisions.
After enduring 10 years of speculation on her relationship status, body, and story after story ruminating on her fertility, Jennifer Aniston is leading the fightback against the objectification of women within tabloids.
If she is pregnant, Jennifer said she’ll let the public know and it won’t be because she feels incomplete.
“Here’s where I come out on this topic: we are complete with or without a mate, with or without a child”, Aniston wrote.
“There’s another reason why the media objectify and scrutinise famous women, and why little girls get confused about beauty and body image”, he writes.

“If I am some kind of symbol to some people out there, then clearly I am an example of the lens through which we, as a society, view our mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, female friends and colleagues”. Let’s make that decision consciously, outside of the tabloid noise.
