“As Mr. McCarthy knows, a police officer is only as effective as when he has the trust of those he serves”, Emanuel said.

One week ago, dashcam video released showed one of Mccarthy’s officers taking out a black teen with 16 bullets.
“I don’t have a specific list today but people who are engaged in these issues, who have constructive things to say, are people we are going to want to engage with”, Lightfoot said.
It was eventually made public last week after a judge ordered its release.
