“But it”™s unlikely to happen Sunday when the Chiefs meet the Jets at Arrowhead Stadium.

Charles (knee) is not expected to play Sunday against the Jets, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

“It”™s been 111/2 months since Charles tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, and the Chiefs and Charles have taken a cautious approach for his return. In the lead-up to the past two contests, Reid has made it clear that Charles would be highly doubtful. Last week, Charles warmed up with the team on Sunday before the Texans’ game, perhaps saying that the progress is real.
