The Arizona Cardinals have begun the construction of their 53 man roster and one of the first moves made was the addition of a young cornerback, Marcus Cooper. Per Darren Urban of the Cardinals official website, the draft pick is for 2018.

Cooper signed with the Chiefs as a waiver wire pick-up in 2013 and became a nice find for general manager John Dorsey during his rookie season.
The 6-foot-2, 192-pound Cooper entered the National Football League with the San Francisco 49ers as a seventh-round pick out of Rutgers in the 2013 draft. He was a rising star as a rookie in 2013 with three interceptions and 21 passes defensed, but he’s been unable to replicate those numbers over the last two seasons.
The Cardinals have yet to announce their final cuts to get to the 53-man roster by 4 p.m. ET Saturday.
Cooper joins a cornerback room led by Patrick Peterson.

After being waived following training camp, he joined the Chiefs and spent the last three years in Kansas City, where he played in 39 games with 11 starts.
