Childish Gambino booed off stage in Newcastle

Meanwhile his crew members rapped and joked with the audience. When he did eventually decide to start rapping, the effort apparently wasn’t enough, as the crowd progressively became more and more upset, and ended up booing him off stage while chanting obscenities at him.

Childish reportedly fooled around on stage with his friends for over 40-minutes before he actually began rapping.

“Cool video. Did you film the part where he was booed off stage and we were all left disappointed?” one user commented.

“We jumped at the chance to. present Childish Gambino to Newcastle in an intimate gig… he didn’t deliver on what was billed and expected by everyone, including us”. As seen last night, unfortunately we have no control over the acts (sic) performance once on stage…

“… we were extremely excited to be presented with this opportunity. Subsequently, he didn’t deliver on what was billed and expected by everyone, including us”, added the promotional team.

Childish Gambino (i am donald) covers one of his fav R&B classics, TAMIA’s “So Into You” for Like A Version.

Gambino is scheduled to perform at Listen Out in Sydney and Brisbane over the weekend. Gambino really goes for it in this version hitting the high notes and probably (definetley) wooing everyone who watches it. Its poster featured a large photo of Glover, along with a specific set time. Speaking with Guardian Australia, he said a full set was in order “as per the contract that we have signed, honoured and paid for”.

They also brought their complaints to the venue’s Facebook page, claiming that the venue had misled them about the show.

The Cambridge and promoter Big Apachee are having ongoing discussions, Mr Russell said, and would contact ticket holders directly.
