– DeKalb County SWAT members responded to a motel early Tuesday morning where a woman and 11 children are being held hostage. No one else was injured in the standoff.

The children range in age between three months and 17 years old.

Thomas was taken to a hospital. Police later identified him as Korrie Thomas, 36, and said he is facing charges of false imprisonment and obstruction.

Police were initially called to the motel in Decatur because of a domestic assault.
