China Mourns Death of Former US First Lady Nancy Reagan
“The woman who loved one of the greatest Presidents in America” said the Texas Eagle Forum’s Cathie Adams-a one-time head of the Republican Party of Texas, looking back on the life of one of America’s most-influential first ladies.

The former First Lady married Ronald Reagan in 1952, and was by his side through Hollywood and the Presidency before he, of course, preceded her in death almost 12 years ago.
After her White House years she became a vocal advocate for research on Alzheimer’s Disease, which afflicted her husband late in his life. “She believed in making a certain look for the White House”, Graddy says. Here she goes to the nation’s capital and. her personal taste becomes an issue of debate.
It wasn’t long after the 1984 Republican convention in Dallas when Spaeth said her phone rang. “The idea that she is involved in governmental decisions and so forth and all of this, and being a kind of dragon lady – there is nothing to that”, a visibly angry Reagan assured reporters.
Nancy Reagan’s first big screen role was in director Curtis Bernhardt’s drama about a wealthy doctor (Glenn Ford) who defies his family’s wishes by opening a practice in a poorer neighborhood.
Tom Pauken, who ran for governor in 2014, worked for the Reagan White House, as well.
But Nancy Reagan was not cowed by criticism.
“You learn something out of everything, and you come to realize more than ever that we’re all here for a certain space of time, and, and then it’s going to be over, and you better make this count”.
Nancy Reagan has died at age 94, according to media reports.
“I liked Ronald Reagan as the president quite a lot”, he said.
“Certainly she had influences that we can point to politically, having a moderating influence on the hard-liners leading to the reproachment of the Soviet Union, helping him to publicly apologize for Iran-Contra, helping his preparation for the second debate, changing his inner circle”, said Goodwin. Heidi Cruz, 43, is a business woman who attended Harvard Business School and is now on sabbatical from her job as a senior wealth manager at Goldman Sachs. She is gone now, but we pray that her lessons of devotion will live on with us all. “But shameful is not even strong enough a word for the record of the Reagan administration on this”.
“She was lonely without him”. “She was a fine lady”.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum was closed Sunday following the death of Nancy Reagan, but a steady stream of mourners stopped by the main entrance northwest of Los Angeles to snap photos, leave flowers and pay respect. In her memoir, “My Turn”, she wrote of her husband that “he often seems remote, and he doesn’t let anybody get too close”. In “Donovan’s Brain”, she played the wife of a scientist possessed by disembodied grey matter.
