Chip Kelly’s Eagles’ Tenure May be Defined by This Quote
The Lions play at the Rams (4-6) on December 13, at the Saints (4-6) on December 21, home to the 49ers (3-7) on December 27 and at the Bears (5-6) on January 3. Rowe gave up two touchdown passes to Detroit’s Calvin Johnson.

It was the third straight win for the Lions and third loss in a row for the reeling Eagles, who drop to 4-and-7 for the season.
“One of my favorite games to play in every year”, Stafford said. “They depend on me to go out there and perform at a certain level, and when I let them down, let our team down, our coaches, our fan base, everybody. That ain’t the Eagle way and we’ve just got to fix it”.
Kelly cited the lack of a pass rush for the flurry of points they’ve allowed.
Certainly those changes have paid off. The line has played better and the offense has been more aggressive and thrived.
However, after going back and re-watching Kelly’s introductory press conference, this quote may be the most appropriate one to define his tenure, should we be watching his demise.
The Lions tacked on touchdowns on each of their first two possessions of the second half, with Stafford and Johnson connecting on both scores. Sanchez found tight end Brent Celek for a 2-yard score on third-and-goal to cap an 80-yard drive.
Philadelphia got a late touchdown with under three minutes left, cutting the lead to 45-14.
Detroit scored another touchdown in the third quarter on a 1-yard run from Joique Bell, giving them a 45-7 lead.
Look, the Eagles invested too much in Kelly to just give up now.
The good news is that the bar for getting better has never been lower during Kelly’s time with the team. On Tuesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said that the Eagles and Kelly “are sick of each other”. Defensive tackle Bennie Logan told CSN Philly called the performance “disgusting” and “an embarrassment”, while safety Malcolm Jenkins shot down the questions of defensive effort. The Eagles were undefeated in their previous six Thanksgiving Day games…. Carroll also intercepted two passes and returned a fumble for a touchdown. This should have been a rebuild year but the Eagles managed to go 10-6 and win the NFC East before being dispatched in the first round by the New Orleans Saints. Brady surely had an enjoyable Thanksgiving, knowing he could do a whole lot more carving next Sunday. Without their starting left tackle, the reshuffled line couldn’t keep the Lions out of the backfield. Their running game stalled once again.
In Watkins, the Eagles have a player who is familiar with their defensive scheme. Is Chip Kelly 100 percent to blame, and if so, what happens with the Eagles in 2016? The Eagles have recorded 27 sacks (11th) and have forced 21 turnovers (tied-2nd).
Kelly has to hope it’s an injury slowing Agholor and not the fact that Kelly might have missed on a first-round draft pick for the second straight season.
Actually, because why not, the Philadelphia Union of MLS just finished the season second-to-last in the Eastern Conference and finished second-to-last in points for the entire MLS, with 10 wins and 17 losses on the season. Agholor drew a 15-yard penalty in the fourth quarter when he took off his helmet and argued with Detroit cornerback Crezdon Butler.

Coach Jason Garrett wouldn’t rule out Romo returning this season, and said he would play if he was cleared even with the Cowboys unlikely to have a realistic shot to defend their division title.
