Chip Kelly’s offense sucks, here are 10 tweets showing exactly why

Kelly said the Eagles inability to convert on third down comes from falling behind on first and second down.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Ryan Mathews (24) and running back DeMarco Murray (29) run a drill at the NFL football team’s practice facility, Thursday, October 8, 2015, in Philadelphia. With the support being shown by Stallone on Tim Tebow and his encouragement for the football player to consider acting for a new career, rumors have started circulating that Tebow might be considered for “The Expendables 4”, which was what Sly did to Ronda Rousey by including her in the cast of “The Expendables 3”. He replied by talking about the offense as a whole, and his own failure to put the team in better positions. Elsewhere, the line held up well enough and, on the other side of the ball, the defense bent a lot but got big plays on the turnovers and hectored Drew Brees all afternoon. “That’s been exactly what stalled out our offense from the beginning all the way through these first four games”.

“And it falls on everybody”.

When Chip Kelly exclaimed “We’re from Philadelphia, we fight”. It can sometimes shed a few negative light on the media and could arguably used as a smoke screen to get rid of a player you didn’t get on with…either way, this started the domino effect of the roster cuts and Chips stamp towards the decisions being made. “If we bounced it [outside], maybe we get a couple more yards than we did”.

But what do Kelly’s words mean? His about-face came immediately after a conversation with McCoy.

Even if Kelly’s point about execution being the biggest issue is correct, it’s certainly not what already upset players want to hear. Kelly told reporters past year that he had no interest in returning to coach at the college level and wasn’t even called.

Any time a major college team loses a game it shouldn’t, the coach is getting fired and Chip Kelly is on the next plane to Columbia, Austin, or now Los Angeles. That’s part of the process, and not a change in philosophy.

“You always want to be on the field”, Murray said after practice Thursday.

“It’s his arrogance that I hate”.

It could be a match made in USC football heaven.

“Really, we’ve got no choice but to be patient”, Maxwell said.

But these are the kind of reports that seem to emerge when a team struggles. “Both of those are very positive trends”.

One positive thing one might say about Chip Kelly this season so far is that he’s not trying to make excuses for the Philadelphia Eagles having a bad start, putting a lot of the blame on himself. He’s not necessarily an outsider of the scene in Philadelphia, which makes this comment even more interesting. They have a good defense and they have guys that can put hands on you.

Frank Gore had originally agreed to sign with the Eagles before signing with the Indianapolis Colts.

The Texans were supposed to be playoff contenders after going 9-7 in Bill O’Brien’s first year with the team. It is normal for the team to have a slow start, but it eventually builds up a head of steam as the season progresses. He will likely be a hot commodity after one downward-trending season, but after two? Another reason is that Murray had missed the previous week’s game against the Jets with a hamstring injury.

That’s something the Eagles have to do starting with the first quarter and they have to maintain that rhythm for the full 60 minutes.
