Chipotle has announced that it plans to expand its delivery service to college campuses, including schools in the metro area.
Ohio State students will soon have the ability to have Chipotle delivered to their doorsteps.
Chipotle has partnered with Tapingo, a delivery company, to make this happen. We are curious if delivery will be an extra charge (if so, how much, ) and how fast delivery will be.
“Chipotle has been popular with students going back to our very first restaurant near the University of Denver, and we are always looking for ways to better engage with them”, said Mark Crumpacker, chief creative and development officer at Chipotle.
The provisions of Chipotle’s partnerships with Tapingo, Order Postmates and Up aren’t revealed. You’ll be able to place your order from your phone and continue watching Netflix in your bed while you wait for your burrito to arrive.
“It’s good food”, Nicholas, a senior, said.

Are you totally sick of the food served in your college’s cafeteria? According to Tapingo, the delivery fee will fall somewhere between $1.99 and $4.99.
