Chris Bosh pressuring Heat to return during playoffs
The Miami Heat are in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Toronto Raptors and are not letting Bosh play due to health concerns. Doctors have advised the All-Star forward not to play, but Bosh allegedly has a doctor that could clear him, according to multiple sources. And they’re putting private pressure on the Heat and they’re putting public pressure on the Heat.

The Heat’s doctors, however, fear that the side effects of blood thinners could lead to a potentially unsafe and not to mention bloody situation should Bosh get injured on the court.
I mean, you hope there’s an explanation behind this photo – awkward camera angle or something, maybe? – but to the naked eye, it very much appears Chris Bosh celebrated the Miami Heat’s Game 7 win by reaching out and grabbing his teammate’s junk.
Chris Bosh is in Toronto, but he’s not yet back in a Heat uniform.
“This runs the risk of getting problematic here at a bad time, because Chris Bosh wants on the court. We are hopeful that all parties involved can meet as soon as possible to resolve the situation”. But the part that I find interesting to talk about is why, if the foremost authorities are telling the Heat no, he can’t play, is he willing to risk it at all?
A sideline presence for the No. 3-seeded Heat, Bosh issued a statement in March about how he was optimistic he’d play again this season and now has unveiled a video of him shooting. And that was one of the reasons why he sat out, they gave him blood-thinning medicine. Together with the Miami Heat I am working with doctors, exploring the best precautionary treatment options, and taking every necessary step to make sure I’m healthy for myself, my family and my team…. “But I don”t know if it”s the same thing.
On Tuesday, Brian Windhorst also spoke about Bosh’s health on ‘Mike and Mike’. If Bosh has any legitimate argument that he can come back and play, it may raise eyebrows over the Heat’s intentions.

“Chris Bosh wants to play”, Windhorst said. “If you get elbowed in the side of the head, you can get in a situation where you die from bleeding inside your brain”. It’s been a point of contention for him ever since his blood clots returned in February this season before disappearing the next month.
