Brown took to Instagram Tuesday to deny any wrongdoing and to condemn police.

Brown, 27, is scheduled to appear in municipal court September 20 on the assault charge, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department site.

Chris Brown who was arrested yesterday, August 30, 2016, was released from jail after posting 0,000 (N79m) bail. Things got out of control when a woman named, Baylee Curran, said she was looking at the rapper’s jewelry and he pulled the weapon on her.

Brown’s lawyer tweeted that his client was later freed, adding that the accusations were “demonstrably false”. Brown’s probation ended previous year, so according to Slaten he can’t be “thrown in the slammer” for probation violation.

Curran told TMZ that she visited Brown’s residence before and never had any problems.

“All this bulls-t, everything going on man, I’m just gonna turn the other cheek”, he said in a video post. The former Miss California beauty contestant alleged that Brown assaulted her with a gun.

Brown has posted a series of Instagram videos saying he is innocent.

In 2013, Brown struck a man outside a Washington, D.C., hotel and was charged with misdemeanor assault. The singer was ordered into rehab then dismissed from the facility for violating its rules.

In another incident while in treatment, Brown was accused of throwing a brick at his mother’s auto following a counseling session.
