The Los Angeles Police Department reports that the singer is now being moved to the Robbery Homicide division and he is being cooperative. Everyone at the house will be interviewed about the events that took place this morning.

Brown was arrested without incident at his house around 5 pm, Im said, who could not confirm the weapon Brown allegedly used. Aerial news footage from the scene showed Brown exiting the home and speaking with officers.

Brown initially refused to come outside and was not allowing police into his home, according to Ramirez. Police said the woman complained that Brown hit her and took her cellphone when she tried to snap his photo during a private party, an account his publicist described as a fabrication.

That is when she says Mr Brown pulled out a gun, pointed it at her face and told her to get out. She was not in Brown’s home at the time the call was made.

“Right now, we’re getting cooperation from everyone who’s involved”, he said.

Brown has responded to the allegations in a video, in which he claims he’s “innocent” and rants against the police and the media’s portrayal of him.

“So I’m asleep half the damn night and I just wake up, and all these [expletive] helicopter choppers is around, police out there at the gate”, he says in one. “I ain’t going to do (expletive)”, he added. “Black lives matter”, Brown said in one of the videos.

“I don’t care. Y’all gonna stop playing with me like I’m the villain out here, like I’m going insane”, Brown said in one Instagram video, waving a cigarette and looking at the camera.

He also accused police of not responding as quickly to his own calls for help in the past. “I’m exhausted of (expletive) dealing with you all, y’all the worst gang in the world, the police, and I said it”.

Brown has a history of abuse involving women.
