Chris Brown case: Attorney says accusation is false

The attorney for Chris Brown cast doubts on the woman who accused the singer of pulling a gun on her, stating the story was fabricated during a press conference he held Friday in downtown Los Angeles.

As police waited outside, videos surfaced on Brown’s Instagram page denying he did anything wrong. “Given his history, I think that was the prudent thing to do”, he said.

Curran said that she had partied previously with Brown and that he grew angry after she admired a piece of jewellery.

Geragos said he is unaware of a shred of evidence that supports Baylee Curran’s assertion that Brown pulled a gun on her while she was visiting his Tarzana estate on Tuesday morning.

It includes the lyrics, “What do you do, fighting for your life when no one’s on your side?”

He was released after posting 0,000 bail later that night.

As Brown’s team preps for his September 20 court appearance, the singer is focusing on staying busy.

‘I have a different relationship with Chris, That’s my boy.I watched him come up, a lot of the s**t he go threw is insane to me.

Following Curran’s call to 911, police continuously tried to make contact with Brown at the home in the 5000 block of Corbin Avenue, touching off an hours-long standoff.

Geragos also said that “nothing was found that corroborated” Curran’s statement.

However, Geragos claimed Curran’s story doesn’t add up.

A Los Angeles Police Department official tells PEOPLE they are not yet releasing details surrounding any search of Brown’s home.

“Lol come get me”, Curran reportedly texted an acquaintance named Safari, shortly after she was kicked out of Brown’s house. In the text, she says if her Uber doesn’t come, she’s going to set up the singer to “teach him a lesson”.

She added: “I just hope he gets whatever he deserves”.

“Hey safari don’t you know this freak Chris brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend jewelry fake”, she allegedly began.
