Meanwhile, the singer has chosen to focus on his music amid the drama and has released his new song What Would You Do? less than 24 hours after he was released from jail on Tuesday (30Aug16).

It needs to be remembered that the fact there has been no denial yet in terms of the drugs that were allegedly found in his apartment but no statement has been forthcoming regarding the whole thing.

Now his lawyer is working to verify the text message Curran allegedly sent to her friend Safari. The arrest, which occurred outside the view of several news helicopters that swirled overhead and throngs of camera crews gathered at the bottom of Brown’s hilltop estate, marked the conclusion of almost 14-hour-long stand-off and investigation by police.

“There was no gun or guns found in that house whatsoever”, said Geragos.

The singer was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on Tuesday (August 30), but lawyer Mark Geragos has claimed there are contradictions in the story of Brown’s accuser.

Geragos said Brown is “fully cooperating” with the investigation. But, either way, why would she ask a guy she’s no longer friendly with to come pick her up at 3 a.m.?

During an interview with Extra, Curran detailed the incident that occurred at Brown’s home. “Because if that text is true, then it gives great credence to what my client said initially, is that nothing happened and this was a set up”, Geragos said. “The allegations against him are demonstrably false”, Geragos posted on Twitter after the singer posted bail.
