The ordeal began at around 3 a.m. on Wednesday when police responded to a 911 call from a woman claiming the singer had threatened her with a gun, according to the Los Angeles Times.

“There are witnesses. I had my friend with me, my girlfriend… she actually fled with me, went running down the street, was there when the cops came, saw the gun, saw the threats”.

Curran said that she was admiring a piece of diamond jewelry in Brown’s kitchen when the singer and his friends demanded that she leave the house. It marked the conclusion of a almost 14-hour standoff and investigation.
Brown, 27, took to social media to deny wrongdoing, daring police to get a search warrant to enter his home in a series of videos posted on Instagram.
“When you get the warrant for whatever you need to do, you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots”, said a visibly angry Brown.
Police did not confirm any of the details surrounding the alleged altercation and described Brown as being “cooperative”.
Brown was released from jail the same day after he posted $250,000 bail, according to jail records.
Police can present the case to the district attorney’s office any time between now and September 20, which is Brown’s preliminary date to appear in court for an arraignment, said Ricardo Santiago of the D.A.’s office.

Bruno Mars and wrestler Hulk Hogan also tweeted their support for the singer and Chris’ lawyer Mark Geragos called the allegations “demonstrably false”, while Baylee has spoken to news outlets to share her version of events. The credibility of Brown’s accuser has also come into question after it was revealed she’s wanted in NY for questioning in connection with criminal theft. Miss Curran has been dethroned as of July of this year due to a breach of contract. When Brown’s associates returned with her phone, they also asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which Curran refused to do.
