Following a freakish, hours-long stand-off with police, the “No Air” and “Kiss Kiss” singer was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after a woman called for help from a gathering at his home.
Geragos has since posted on Twitter, thanking fans for their support of the singer and confirming that Brown denies the charges that have been brought against him. Chris is out and well. His attorney called the allegations “demonstrably false” in a tweet sent out early Wednesday.
Police arrested Brown on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, after an hours-long standoff on Tuesday.
The legal troubles could be serious for Chris Brown with cops reporting that he threw a duffel bag out the window during the lengthy standoff.
Brown is now due to appear in court on September 20.
TMZ is also reporting that Brown’s latest accuser, Curran, is wanted for questioning in New York City regarding an alleged purse snatching in 2013. Chris meanwhile took his time inside posting videos on social media in which he said that he was being targeted by the police and he was the real victim in the situation. According to her accusations, Brown and others became irate when she went to admire a diamond cross necklace, ordering her to leave the house immediately. That’s when she says one of Brown’s associates tried to force her to sign an NDA. If someone calls 911 and says you pulled a gun on them in your house, are the police coming to creat a bunker at the end of your drive way for 11 hours to wait for a search warrant? “Black lives matter. I don’t care, y’all going to stay playing with me like I’m the villain out here, like I’m going crazy” (Instagram).
