Chris Brown’s accuser allegedly sent text message about setting him up

CHRIS Brown‘s accuser Baylee Curran’s credibility has been called into question after an alleged text from Curran to a friend said she was going to set the singer up. Geragos insisted that no guns or drugs were found in the singer’s home when it was searched by police in response to a report he pointed a gun at a woman.

Geragos said he was working to authenticate a text message Curran allegedly sent an acquaintance after the incident at Brown’s house in which she indicated she wanted to teach the singer “a lesson”. ET sat down with Curran on Wednesday, when she said that Brown, 27, pulled a gun on her after she started admiring the jewelry of a male friend in the house.

“There also, by the.so-called accuser, was a statement that was given to the police that apparently there was some jewelry there and she described with great detail what this piece of jewelry was”, said Geragos.

The arrest came more than 12 hours after the woman’s call, with police spending much of the day positioned outside Brown’s home in the Tarzana neighborhood in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley before obtaining a warrant to search it. Brown refuted Curran’s claims in several, now-deleted, Instagram videos.

“There was no gun or guns found in that house whatsoever”, said Geragos.

“The song speaks of a woman “drinking liquor when we (are) celebrating” while calculating all my funds”, and discovering her true nature after they split. “Tune into Power next season, because you will see Chris Brown“, Fifty told Page Six.

But Curran denies she sent the text, and the guy who allegedly received it says he hasn’t talked to her since 2015. “‘This MF is going to go down and I’m going to set him up and say he was going to shoot me'”.

During an interview with the New York Daily News that took place through text messaging, Baylee Curran said she has “never been obsessed with him” or had any romantic feelings for Brown. He was released on $250K bail and is set to return to court on September 20.
