Chris Brown’s Accuser Baylee Curran Says She Feels ‘Validated’ By Singer’s Arrest
The crooner was taken into police custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after Beauty queen Baylee Curran told the police he threatened her with a gun.

She also spoke to the Los Angeles Times, saying she and a friend went into a hot tub at Brown’s house and that the singer became angry when she admired the jewelry of a member of his entourage.
The gossip website TMZ reported that Brown had thrown a duffle bag out of a window and that police had recovered a gun as well as drugs.
Baylee Curran said Brown and another man had become angry when she admired a diamond necklace – telling the LA Times she was chased out of the house and had to hide under a nearby vehicle with a friend. Police later obtained a warrant to search the home for a weapon.
Brown has maintained his innocence, posting several Instagram videos on Tuesday where he claimed to be asleep when the police arrived at his house. The R&B star will be booked into a LAPD jail facility before being transferred to county jail, and will be able to post bail if he chooses. Brown initially refused to leave his home for the police investigation, resulting in an hours-long standoff. Various media organizations live streaming the scene showed a man in a red baseball cap sitting outside the house on the front walkway and smiling with police, as Geragos paced nearby.
The department was conducting a “protective sweep” of the residence, and occupants were coming outside, Lt. Chris Ramirez with the Los Angeles Police Department said. Curran hasn’t responded to requests for comment from the Associated Press. “That’s when the neighbours heard the commotion and saw me out there and then called the police, and that is when I then called the police”, she said.
“I was just standing over it admiring it”.
Brown’s friend Ray J posted his own video on his Instagram page, decrying the “war zone” outside Brown’s house. “You’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing you idiots”, he said.
I’m real upset about today.
Brown has been in repeated legal trouble since he was convicted in 2009 for assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, which led to him spending six years on probation.

The 27-year-old eventually surrendered peacefully and was spotted talking to authorities outside his home.
