Chris Christie Blows Up On Gun Rights Activist In Iowa
Gov. Christie’s presidential campaign hit the airwaves with its second television ad Friday, in which the Republican accuses President Obama of “lying to the American people” about how the accord limiting Iran’s nuclear program would work.

“I’m not against agreements and I’m not against negotiating with Iran, but you’ve got to get a fair deal and you have to represent that deal fairly to the American people”, Christie said.
But Christie, separately, told CNN that he wasn’t referring specifically to Bush, but instead that “everybody who doesn’t talk about this stuff says they’re mischaracterized….”
“What the president has done in the past 10 days, I believe, is a thing that we will look back on historically as the single worst and most unsafe thing he’s done in his presidency”, Christie said. “You’re wrong about that, too”. How’s that? The governor and the king were personal friends, Christie said – although they’d only met once, in a brief encounter at a political dinner.
That’s swell, Chris. But when your campaign slogan is “Telling It Like It Is”, it would help if you weren’t infamous in your home state as an audacious, inveterate liar. The voter brought up an ad that ran in 1995, which shows Christie criticizing his opponent for wanting to repeal the assault weapons ban in New Jersey.
But an attendee at Christie’s town hall noted that a deal was reached with the Soviets a year later and questioned why Christie is against a deal with Iran.
Christie will be on the stump in Iowa Friday before returning to New Hampshire on Sunday.
In the most recent Iowa Poll, 4 percent of likely Republican caucus-goers listed Christie as their first choice.
“As governor and as president, you’re not an emperor or dictator”, Christie said.

If he is elected “every federal law that is on the books will be enforced and if Congress doesn’t like the law, then change it”, he said.
