Chris Christie defends Donald Trump comments about Hillary Clinton security disarming
“You believe it’s an incitement to violence against his opponent in the presidential race, Hillary Clinton?”.

Clinton received 40-percent of the vote compared to Trump’s 37-percent.
The Clinton camp has realized that there’s “an enthusiasm gap in favor of Trump”, he noted.
Recent polls suggest Trump may have benefited in recent weeks by his own newfound discipline and Clinton’s missteps.
But I think the obligation that we have – and – and Secretary Clinton – Hillary said this, too – is while that is a motivation of some of the Trump supporters – and we won’t get them – I do have confidence over time that that kind of motivation is reducing.
“The truth of the matter is, it really is remarkable to me, and I just joined this campaign a couple of months ago.
I think they should disarm immediately”, Trump said on Friday. That has sparked concerns that the 68-year-old candidate may not be healthy enough to lead the country.
Trump’s Democratic rival Hillary Clinton jumped on the statement as more evidence that Trump is unfit to be president. “He says we got nothing left to lose, so we might as well support somebody who has fought against Civil Rights, and fought against equality, and who has shown no regard for working people for most of his life”, Obama said as the crowd cheered.
Christie also said it was “an issue that Mrs. Clinton also injected” into the 2008 Democratic primary against Obama, which is false.
“But then we knew that we would not solve all of our challenges in one year, or one term, or even one presidency, not even in one lifetime – because we understand better than anybody that this is the story of America, that the project of America is never finished”. This marked a very rare occasion in US history that a presidential candidate has attacked an opponent’s supporters rather than the opponent.
As recently as January, Trump sounded skeptical on whether he now believed the president was a natural-born citizen eligible under the Constitution to be president.
Clinton has also been criticized for her campaign’s lack of transparency concerning her health after the Sunday collapse.
Within minutes, the Clinton campaign condemned the remark.
Trump’s ground game is lacking, and much of his campaign has depended on media coverage of the bombastic candidate.
But in August 2012, in just one example of Trump bringing the subject up, he tweeted: “An “extremely credible source” has called my office and told me that BarackObama’s birth certificate is a fraud”.
She added: “He kept this issue going”.
