Chris Christie Endorses Donald Trump For the 2016 Presidency
“He has been a good and loyal friend”, Mr. Christie said of Mr. Trump.

Christie said at a news conference that “there is no one who is better prepared to provide America with the strong leadership that it needs”. “They know how to run the usual political playbook around junior senators, and run them around the block”. “The fact of the matter is, no one is gonna get inside this guy’s head”, Mr. Christie said.
Donald Trump will be making a campaign stop in Oklahoma City on Friday, Feb. 26 at the Cox Convention Center.
Christie dropped out of the presidential race earlier this month after failing to gain traction in New Hampshire, a stake where he had spent much of his time and efforts in his bid for the Republican nomination.
Christie jumped right into the campaign talking points and heaped praise on Trump.
“Generally speaking I’m not big on endorsements”, he said.
Christie made an appearance in Texas on Friday, and the Times reported that both Trump and Christie had a friendly exchange when the governor endorsed.
It was as though Christie were auditioning, in real time, to be Trump’s VP pick. Marco Rubio for his attacks on Mr. Trump at Thursday night’s debate.

In addition to Cruz and Rubio, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson are still in the running for the Republican nomination.
