Chris Christie Endorses Donald Trump in Republican Presidential Race

Today, however, Christie seems to have changed his mind and decided that a huckster-entertainer like Trump is exactly what the country needs.

Turning to Rubio’s debate performance, Christie said “desperate people in campaigns do desperate things”.

Trump bowed out of the final GOP debate before the Iowa caucuses, following a public feud with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, who was moderating the debate in question. He played by Trump rules – interrupting and mocking at every opportunity. “It’s Rubio!” he shouted to loud applause and cheers.

Christie and Trump walking in together to the CNN debate at Simi Valley in September 2015. “He was applying makeup around his mustache, because he had one of those sweat mustaches”. Is the governor grabbing on to Trump’s coattails and hoping for a spot in a Trump administration if The Donald wins in November? “It’s time to unmask him for what he is”. And it underscored the extent to which Trump has managed to dominate the news cycle and starve rivals of momentum just as they appear to be on the rise.

Governor Christie, who ended his Presidential bid earlier this month following the New Hampshire primary added, “Donald is a leader”.

Underscoring Christie’s decision is his heated history with Rubio.

“I’m happy to be on the Trump team and look forward to working with him”, Christie said at a Trump news conference in Texas. “Donald Trump actually believes in the American people”.

Well, before this afternoon, I probably would have said that Christie and Graham have more in common with each other than they have in common with Trump. Christie received a thundering reception as he took to the stage in front of thousands at a convention center in Fort Worth, Texas. Marco Rubio of Florida visited the Permian Basin to attend a private fundraiser in Midland on Friday, continuing his attacks on rival Donald Trump and asking for local votes as he trailed in the polls ahead of Super Tuesday.

Instead of securing a new ally, Rubio found himself on the wrong end of the Christie’s attacks.

A reporter noted that Baker’s former mentor, former Gov. Bill Weld, has endorsed Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

Christie’s move overshadowed them all.

As the schoolyard taunts passed back and forth Friday, voters struggled to contain their shock.

“I’ve had a lot of difficulties with Ted”, he said.

And Baker made it clear he won’t be jumping on the Trump bandwagon with him. “You know, “Vladimir Putin isn’t being nice to me, I’m not going to return his phone call”?”.

As Trump and Rubio exchanged broadsides, Sen.

Up until Thursday, Rubio and Cruz had shown little willingness to take on Trump when the national spotlight shines the brightest.

” Yes @tedcruz; @realdonaldtrump did fire me on Celebrity Apprentice”.

Rodman managed to maintain the tenor of the day. Deploying an expletive, Rodman warned Cruz that Trump would soon dispatch him as well.
