Chris Christie: I’m Pro-Life for the 16-Year-Old Girl Addicted to Heroin, Too

“And so we need to start treating people in this country, not jailing them”. He compares drug addiction to his mother’s addition to nicotine from smoking, describing the many lengths she went through to quit, CBS News reported. “And so he said, ‘Listen, we’re going to give you a few treatment or whatever, but in the meantime, just to help get you through, we’re going to give you Percocet, to help numb the pain”.

“You can tell, this is sort of the least partisan thing imaginable, and whether you like Chris Christie as a candidate or not – whether you like him as a politician or not – his kind of skill at communicating the way you saw him communicating on an issue like this, that’s why he still seems like he could be a contender, despite all the numbers and everything on paper say otherwise”, she said Tuesday night.

She said although other candidates have brought up the issue of addiction, Christie’s plea showed the type of ability he has as a candidate.

The man’s wife divorced him, he lost his right to see his daughters, and he lost his law license and driver’s license. Further, he spent all his savings and most of his retirement, Christie said.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was among those who hit the “like” button on the video. “This is a disease”, he said on the program.

After fellow presidential hopeful Jeb Bush explained that he does play fantasy sports but that contests involving real money should be regulated on a few level by the government, Christie went on a short rant about why he thinks any question about fantasy sports, especially in presidential politics, is ridiculous. We know how to help people. “Let’s get them into treatment”.
