Chris Christie Made a Comment About Birth Control
A number of political observers cringed when New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) was quoted discussing birth control on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, the comments from Christie on Tuesday were a far cry from his more opaque initial remarks following the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision which determined that some employers could decline to offer birth control coverage in health plans for religious reasons. How cavalier! Now think of all the little Christies that might exist if there were no such thing as Planned Parenthood… But a poll by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center published Monday found Christie winning support from 7 percent of likely Republican primary voters, behind Donald Trump, Jeb Bush and Scott Walker.
“I’m a Catholic, but I’ve used birth control-and not just the rhythm method, ok?” the Republican presidential candidate admitted to a crowd at a Manchester, N.H. restaurant.
“My church has a teaching against birth control”, Christie continued. And so, that’s one of the reasons why religion shouldn’t be in politics in my view. “Does that make me an very bad Catholic, because I believed and practiced that function during part of my life?” he asked.

Oh, that’s not what “rhythm method” means, in a Catholic way? “I’m only going to find out when it’s my time to be judged”, he added, noting that he believed only God could judge him.
