Chris Christie’s ‘inexperience’ attack on Marco Rubio got intense

Over the summer and through the fall, billionaire reality TV star Donald Trump led in national polls and dominated news coverage.

Christie is hoping a surge will lift him from the depths of New Hampshire’s polls to a strong finish on Tuesday in what could be his campaign’s last stand. And his performance in Saturday’s debate seemed to invigorate his campaign in the final stretch. “So I think everyone is expecting him to win and the fight is between second and sixth, and I don’t think anyone can tell who is going to wind up in which spot”. “The reason why I’m running is if we elect someone like that for the next four years, I think it may be too late for America to turn around”.

Former President Bill Clinton, who earlier accused Sanders’ supporters of waging “profane” and “sexist” attacks on his wife on the Internet, took a softer tone Monday, though he displayed frustration at Sanders’ success with young voters.

The New Jersey governor jumped in as Rubio struggled and said, ‘You see, everybody, I want the people at home to think about this.

Governor Chris Christie used a Sunday town hall appearance to celebrate the onslaught he waged against Florida Senator Marco Rubio at Saturday’s Republican debate. No experience. But a lot of talking points that he just got, you know, from his oppo-research guys.

Marco Rubio on ABC’s “This Week”. Christie said. “She has been running from federal prosecutors for six months”.

Shown a video of his repeated remarks produced by the Clinton super PAC “Correct the Record”, Rubio said he “would pay them to keep running that clip”. As for Bush’s promise to “joyfully” run for president, Christie told audience members in a school cafeteria to “go to Jeb and ask him how joyful this is now”.

RUBIO: Well, look, we raised more money last night in the first hour that debate than any other debate.

Ted Cruz, the Texas senator who won in Iowa, is in the mix in New Hampshire with Iowa third-place finisher Marco Rubio.

“Undecided voters come up to me and say, ‘The debate made up my mind, ‘ ” Mr. Christie said on NBC’s “Today” program.

In response, Rubio criticized Christie for his character and integrity.

Trump was onstage at an event in New Hampshire bashing his opponent’s stances on waterboarding in times of war, and, at first taking the high road by avoiding name calling for once.

“We can’t afford to lose this election and if I’m the nominee, we won’t”, he said.
