Chris Christie to Deliver Prime-Time Speech at GOP Convention
After presenting the “facts”, the former federal prosecutor told the crowd at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland to “render your verdict tonight on the basis of the facts”.

“We feel that that was not just a happened meeting to talk about golf and grandchildren”, Paul Manafort said in an interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC News’ “Good Morning America”.
After a warm opening in which he declared himself once again to be “Donald Trump’s friend for the last 14 years”, Christie proceeded to assail Clinton’s “dismal record” as secretary of state. He hit on the Iran nuclear deal, the Obama administration’s overtures to Cuba, and the Syrian civil war.
He was interrupted four times by chants of “Lock her up!” that were among the loudest moments of the evening – louder than the cheers for Trump when his face appeared on the Jumbotron screen to address the audience.
While many on social media criticized Hillary Clinton for her acknowledgement that there is evidence that African-Americans are more likely to be killed in police incidents as compared to other groups, the numbers speak for themselves.
At the Culinary Academy Training Center, 710 W. Lake Mead Blvd., Clinton continued the attacks on Trump while workers from the Republican nominee’s Las Vegas hotel lauded her for her role in fighting for fair wages. At least that much is gleaned from a cursory look at her campaign’s official Twitter account.
On Tuesday (July 19), Christie seemed determined to remind people why he would have been flawless for that job.
“I’m here to tell you Hillary Clinton will say anything, be anything, and do anything to be president, and we can’t allow it…Not since Baghdad Bob has there been a public figure with such a tortured relationship with the truth”.
The chant, which delegates began on the first night of the convention Monday, was revived again Tuesday when New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie began a speech by making a case against Clinton. She added that viewers heard a lot about her and Trump but “not a single solution” that would help workers and their families. “Maybe it’s not coincidental that it took a personality as big as Trump’s to rein in Christie’s penchant for self-aggrandizement”.
“Is she guilty or not guilty?” Christie listed her lies: no classified information on the server, she did not email classified information, all work-related emails were given back to the State Department. The matter consumed news coverage from Cleveland, obscuring Mrs. Trump’s broader effort to show her husband’s softer side.
She also tweeted, “If you think Chris Christie can lecture anyone on ethics, we have a bridge to sell you”, a reference to the George Washington Bridge scandal.

“I’m definitely not for Hillary Clinton”, Bramnick, R-Union, said Tuesday.
