Chris Duhon Arrested for Aggravated DUI, Suspended by Marshall University

Deputies say they smelled alcohol on Duhon’s breath. His blood-alcohol level registered 0.20 percent, more than double the legal limit of 0.08.

He was taken to the Western Regional Jail.

Former Duke University point guard Chris Duhon was arrested for “extreme DUI” early Monday morning.

It should be noted that aggravated DUI is when a someone is found committing another offense in addition to driving under the influence.

Duhon is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Thundering Herd.

Marshall’s athletic department released a statement saying Duhon has been suspended for violating the department’s rules and policies.

According to TMZ Sports, police officers were asked to respond to a “man down” call (yeah, it was that bad) in Eleanor, W.Va.at 4 a.m. today and found Duhon-who spent nearly a decade in the National Basketball Association after leaving Duke-passed out in the driver’s seat of his Ford Escape.

No details about the arrest have been released at this time.

According to the jail website Chris Duhon 33 was arrested in Putnam County on a misdemeanor charge
