The strapping 6-foot-4 Hemsworth adopted a 500-calorie-a day diet for the Ron Howard film “In the Heart of the Sea”, subsisting on small salads interspersed with small pieces of protein.

The Thor actor posted the shocking snap on Instagram, which showed his dramatic weight loss in preparation for his latest film.
