Chris Ivory releases statement regarding hospital stay, returns to facility
Ivory was released on Tuesday this week, three days after being admitted to the hospital, and there were still really no words from the Jaguars or the running back other than he was dealing with a “general medical issue”.

Just before Sunday’s season opener, the Jacksonville Jaguars announced that running back Chris Ivory would be inactive.
Christine Michael had been the starter, but it was widely assumed the job would go back to Rawls once the team deemed him ready to carry the workload. “We’ll see, but I would think that the arrow would be down”. He’s like, ‘Hey, I’m back with the team and meeting with the trainers and stuff.’ He’s always had that mindset to focus on today and what do I need to do and just wants to move on. Ivory is expected to miss Sunday’s game against the Chargers, but should be ready to rock for Week 3. The powerful runner, signed to be a bruising backfield complement to former Alabama star T.J. Yeldon, is going to be relied on to help Jacksonville’s rising offense find better balance. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport previously reported the issue was unrelated to the calf trouble that landed Ivory in the questionable section of the team’s injury report.
Cornerback Jalen Ramsey and tight end Julius Thomas practiced full for a second consecutive day on Thursday.
Head coach Gus Bradley said he was notified of Ivory’s condition early Sunday morning.

“Anticipation is that he should be fine”, Bradley said of Fowler. We’ll update when we have more information. “It is a big emphasis this week”.
