Chris Kyle’s Widow Left Obama Stuttering In Gun Control Town Hall
Speaking at a live town hall broadcast on CNN, Taya Kyle said the orders proposed by the president “won’t stop…horrific things from happening”. “And that’s a very tough pill to swallow”.

We want to think that we can make a law and people will follow it. By the very nature of their crime, they’re not following it. By the very nature of looking at the people who hurt our loved ones here, I don’t know that any of them would have been stopped by the background check.
“Your message of hope is something I agree with”, she told the president, though insisting guns, unlike what Obama says, are not the problem but the people who own them. And so they could do the same amount of damage with a pipe bomb.
Kelly and Giffords became prominent gun control advocates after Giffords was shot in 2011.
She added, “I hope our people hold tight to the notion that we do not have to be a fear-ridden country focused on restrictions, but rather that we remain the land of the free and home of the courageous”. According to Taya Kyle, gun control laws such as this are not effective, nor would they have stopped mass shooting such as the Sandy Hook elementary school massacre. “I think we are in agreement that we can’t fix everything”. “We are at an all time high for gun ownership…” Specifically, numbers that indicate “the violent crime rate in the United States has gone down substantially in the last 20 years”.
At Thursday night’s town hall, Kyle, whose military hero husband was killed at at a firing range by a mentally disturbed Marine veteran he had been helping, criticized Obama’s executive actions, telling him that she wants the hope “that I have the right to protect myself, that I don’t end up to be one of these families, that I have the freedom to carry whatever weapon I feel I need”.
But he challenged that the reason for the decline in murder rates was higher gun ownership saying, “If you look at where are the areas with the highest gun ownership, those are the places in some cases where the crime rate hasn’t dropped down that much”.
“They’re just down the street”, he said.
“Why not celebrate that we’re good people and that 99.9% of us are not going to kill anyone?” She blamed Chris’s death not because Eddie had access to a gun, but because he was a paranoid “drug user”. Do you think the president shouldn’t be making any more regulations and be focusing his efforts elsewhere? “That’s the same thing we can do with gun ownership”, he concluded.
President Obama continues his executive action/gun control publicity tour with a stop at the propaganda outlet known as the New York Times editorial page.
