Chris Pratt pays touching tribute to late father with fishing snap and emotional tweet
Jurassic World star Chris Pratt has paid a touching tribute to his late father a year after his death. Plus, his famous dad, actor Chris Pratt, approves of the unconventional approach. He twittered: “Your to do list: 1) have kids 2) play outside 3) teach them to fish 4) take pictures. Thanks Dad. Miss a person mankind”. In his tweet, the 36-year-old actor included an old photo of himself and his brother holding up fishing rods with their dad. “He refused to take any medication or do anything like physical therapy”.

In the old precious photo, Chris’ father Dan stands behind his two little boys wearing a cap, black shades, and a plaid shirt. But Chris was grateful for what Dan taught him in life. “I knew, being the lead in the movie, that I was really responsible for everybody’s attitude”, he told the magazine. So I compartmentalized it all and dealt with it in my own way, but not openly for people to see.
Pratt went on to say that, though his father was never very vocal about his feelings, the actor was pleased he’d reached success through films like Guardians while dad was still alive to see it.
Following up on the comment, Pratt then signed off with a show of fatherly confidence: “I’m proud of both of you”.
Proud papa Chris tweeted back supporting his wife: “Those are swim shorts”.
Furthermore, Chris said, “If I was on TV, [my dad] watched everything I was in”.
