Despite finally winning an Academy Award on his sixth career nomination, Leonardo DiCaprio was more focused on pushing for awareness of climate change and moving people to action on the issue. Y’all would be watching Neil Patrick Harris right now….

But we had better things to protest. “We were too busy being raped and lynched to care about who won best cinematographer”.

Rock also said Pinkett Smith was just kicking up dust because her man, Will Smith, wasn’t nominated for his role in Concussion. “No. It’s a different kind of racist”, Rock said on Sunday. Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties – I wasn’t invited!
Rock transformed a glittering awards show into a 3 ½ hour live performance punctuated by political satire riffing on issues of diversity and inclusion and the Black Lives Matter movement. “It’s incredible to receive this award tonight, but it is much more attractive for me to share it with all of the talented and insane cast and colleagues and crew members”.
