Christian Eriksen back for Tottenham Hotspur’s clash with Huddersfield Town
Following an impressive start to life in Premier League, Huddersfield are without a win in their last four league games as they prepare to welcome Tottenham at The John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday.

Tottenham stamped their authority on Saturday’s lunchtime fixture early and often, putting the match to bed before the interval.
Huddersfield have been stumbling out of the gate of late, but that has not been the case for Tottenham.
Eight minutes later, Spurs doubled their lead thanks to some handsome passing and just a smattering of luck.
The Tottenham striker opened the scoring inside the ninth minute, slotting into the bottom corner after Kieran Trippier had headed a poor Huddersfield clearance into his path.
Huddersfield Town play host to Tottenham Hotspur today in one of the most eagerly anticipated Premier League clashes for the Terriers. His neatly clipped finish was a fine end to a move that combined brilliantly slick play and a spot of fortune.
A series of sharp, direct one-touch passes negated Huddersfield’s press, making the West Yorkshire side look they were merely chasing shadows.
Tottenham, meanwhile, will regard themselves as viable title candidates, having evidently improved upon the away form that proved to be their downfall last season. Kane is on 110 and will probably crack the top 10 (10th is now Robbie Keane, on 122) at some point in December, and by the end of the season he’ll probably be halfway to the all-time mark. He beats three men on the outside of the box and curls in a left-footed shot from 25 yards.
The goal came from an innocuous-looking throw-in. He’s in an wonderful moment, he’s scoring goals, his energy is fantastic – how he presses, how he works without the ball.
He then received a three-match ban in October for elbowing Bournemouth’s Harry Arter and after a slow start, Sissoko never caught up. Spurs were running riot, with the home fans reduced from roaring passion to whimpering despair after a clinical first-half from the visitors.
Sissoko got himself two chances on goal in his 15 minutes on the pitch, he wasted his first with a tame shot, but just about took his second with the aid of a deflection after Davies found him with a great ball. Davies played a lovely little deft pass to the Frenchman, who nearly spurned the chance with a poor first touch.

Kane’s spectacular second put the game beyond Huddersfield inside 23 minutes.
