Christie Expected to End White House Bid

Trump’s remaining opponents, majority mainstream Republicans, will likely benefit from their departures, which leave seven Republicans from a field that once had 17 candidates. Donald Trump the billionaire businessman won the primary as expected, but the tight battle for the runner-up amongst the GOP went to John Kasich the Governor of Ohio. Ms. Clinton, despite her broad support in the infrastructure of the Democratic Party, should be running scared.

It was the final blow for a candidate who spent more than 70 days campaigning in New Hampshire.

Fiorina, the only woman in the Republican field, said she would “continue to travel this country and fight for those Americans who refuse to settle for the way things are and a status quo that no longer works for them”.

Trump’s smashing victory, in which he more than doubled the vote of his closest rival, confirmed his position as the Republican to beat.

The AP reported Tuesday night Christie would go home to New Jersey to “take a deep breath” and figure out the next steps of his campaign.

On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton still leads Bernie Sanders nationally in the Morning Consult poll.

“I do not want black concerns to be moved out with them”.

“People have every right to be angry”. “But they’re also hungry, they’re hungry for solutions”.

Some question if Kasich has the support in the southern state.

George W Bush won the SC primary in 2000, while their father, former President George H W Bush, won the same primary in 1988 and 1992. Whether Tuesday’s results have hurt Rubio in SC is unclear. On Wednesday morning, Donald Trump said he talked with Christie a “little bit” about the New Jersey governor dropping out of the race for the GOP presidential nomination.
