The existing Amtrak tunnel connecting New York City and New Jersey is a century old and in disrepair.

Yet Cuomo sees little light ahead in this tunnel project.

Gov. Chris Christie is meeting with state and federal transportation officials to discuss plans to build a new rail tunnel under the Hudson River.
