For Chris Christie, the 2016 race has all been leading up to New Hampshire. A few minutes later, she spoke up again to say she’d made up her mind to vote for Christie.

To succeed Tuesday, he’ll need to hope he reached enough undecided voters like 28-year-old Ashlee Lewer, who attended Christie’s event sure only that she opposed Donald Trump.

“Donald and I have a lot in common and we have been friends for 13 years”, he said. Marco Rubio – during which the senator repeated the same talking point multiple times, even as Christie openly mocked politicians who memorize talking points – was one of the most memorable moments from Saturday night’s Manchester debate.

He also tried to ride the media attention generated by an exchange with Florida Sen.

Bruce Haynes, founding partner at Purple Strategies, which conducts polls in New Hampshire, said Christie’s personality is a welcome change and amusing to some voters but doesn’t sit well with others. Marco Rubio, Christie said he was not too rough on Rubio.

They never got a chance to confront Christie, however, because he wasn’t on the bus.

“We will make our next step forward based on the complete results in New Hampshire”.

The New Jersey governor’s weight has fluctuated dramatically during his half-decade as a national political figure.

But the clash was more suicide than salvation for Christie, with voters instead flocking to his experienced rivals Gov. John Kasich and Gov. Jeb Bush, who came in second and third respectively here.

At each table or barstool in T-Bones, Christie asked the patron if he or she had any questions for him as he snapped pictures and asked about their food. “There’s nothing Hillary Clinton can throw at me I won’t be ready for. The people of New Hampshire’s Republican Party tonight have spoken very clearly that Mr. Trump is their preference”.
