Christie reveals plan to better poll numbers on ‘Daily Show’
During his conversation with new Daily Show host Trevor Noah, a South African immigrant, Christie talked about how tough he’d be on immigration.

The new host then jumped straight into Christie’s comments at the GOP debate about how non-Americans shouldn’t overstay their visas after coming to the U.S. “You know, normally in one of these situations, I’d just speak from the heart”. “Give a thumbprint when you come in, it goes into a database”, he said. So, right now, we can only express our grief for the people who are lost.
“It’s going to cost so much money…7 billion dollars just to overhaul it in the airports”, Noah probed.
“It’s a lot less expensive than a 2,000-mile wall across the entire southern border”, Christie said. He observed that Trump was in fact the “perfect” president for an African nation given his cult of personality and ability to dismiss hard facts.
“Because there are so many of us up there!” was Christie’s honest response.
So after ten people died in a shooting at an Oregon community college Thursday afternoon, Noah began his show that evening with a somber minute-long commemoration.
