Christina Applegate Is Meryl Streep In This Fake Lifetime Movie Trailer That
“Comes a new portrait of the greatest actress of our time”. Christina Applegate recreates some of Meryl’s most iconic roles in this promo for the would-be movie based on her life, and let’s just say Christina doesn’t quite have the Streep touch.

The teaser then shows Applegate taking on some of Streep’s more dramatic rolls, including the powerful scene from “Doubt” when Streep’s character Sister Aloysius Beauvier threatens to leave the Catholic Church.
Christina Applegate, who looks like “she’s not even trying”, provides a sample of that in a new amusing or Die video that spoofs the network’s try-hard celebrity docudramas.
Barry Wetcher Meryl Streep starred as Miranda Priestly, a malicious magazine editor, in “The Devil Wears Prada“. Taking on the “performance of a lifetime in the role of a lifetime on Lifetime”, Applegate does her best to take on powerhouse Streep. Fake Meryl gets upset when it seems she may not have received an award nomination, but of course that didn’t happen because Meryl Streep gets all of the award nominations.

Applegate shared the video via Twitter on Tuesday, September 1, with a little sweetener for her muse!
