However, the singer’s brother Marcus previously revealed Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, who mentored Grimmie on The Voice, had generously offered to pay for the funeral.
Levine has since reached out to the family and offered to pay for Grimmie’s funeral services and her mother’s travel expenses.
After learning that Grimmie was shot dead after a concert in Orlando, Florida, the judges of The Voice sent their condolences and condemned the killing that took the singer’s life. We are blessed to. “She’s in a better place”, he added.
After learning that Christina had been murdered, Adam said in a statement: ‘Behati and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken by Christina Grimmie’s tragic death. She loved the Lord and her family and was always there for me and I honestly don’t know what ill do without her. She loved singing. She loved the Lord and she loved me. “This is awesome”, he said. Christina, 22, was shot to death after a concert last week while signing autographs for fans outside the Plaza Live concert venue in Orlando.
There is still no confirmed motive for the attack, but police chief John Mina said Loibl may have been a deranged fan.
Marcus also revealed that an impressive $100,000 (now over $150,000) had been raised on the GoFundMe page set up by Christina’s manager. A Grimmie family friend told reporters that the situation still does not seem real, but they know they will “see [Christina] in heaven again”. Her brother, Marcus Grimmie, revealed the touching news on Facebook. The vigil was held in the singer’s hometown of Evesham Township, N.J.

Marcus and friends also remembered some of Christina’s happier moments: spending time with senior citizens, singing Christmas carols to ring in the holiday season.
