Jun 15, 2016- In the wake of the tragic death of the late “The Voice” star Christina Grimmie, singer Nick Jonas has spoken about the need for increased security at meet and greet sessions at concerts.
He continued, “We’re blessed”.
Adam supported Christina throughout the sixth season of the show, coaching her to third place in the final. You guys didn’t know her like I did. The vigil included emotional speeches by friends and family, each of whom praised the singer for her love of her family, friends and faith, reported Billboard.
“Christina was awesome”, Marcus told attendees at Evesham Memorial Sports Complex.
Grimmie was shot and killed on Friday at The Plaza Live in Orlando, Florida, while signing autographs for fans after performing with the pop-rock band, Before You Exit. Her brother Marcus Grimmie tackled the shooter down. Authorities say she apparently had no personal connection to the man who shot her and then fatally shot himself.
Christina’s closest friends, Pete Innaurato, Lauren Longo and Sarah Luebkemann also shared fond memories with the former YouTuber, saying that she put “family, friends, and the Lord” ahead of everything else. (Gomez’s stepfather, Brian Teefey, was Grimmie’s manager).

As Entertainment Weekly noted, Levine is not the only one who has rushed to aid the Grimmie family financially following the singer’s senseless death.
