Christina Ricci as Mom Morticia, Photoshopped or Not, Still a Hit
Ricci, who played daughter Wednesday Addams in the 1991 movie “The Addams Family” and a 1993 sequel “Addams Family Values” opposite Anjelica Huston’s portrayal of Morticia Addams, is all grown up now at 35, noted People magazine. The pic spread like wildfire across the internet on Monday, with excited fans getting all emotional over Ricci channeling her onscreen mom. But honestly, that doesn’t ruin the image for us one bit.

A photo of Ricci dressed up like Morticia emerged online some hours ago and it instantly went viral.
A report by Mary Sue states that this isn’t Christina Ricci dressed up as Morticia Addams. Christina Ricci might not be in talks for a remake, in which she’d star as Morticia, but the Powers That Be can use the reactions to the fake photo to appreciate the kind of interest the remake would generate.
The shot is nearly an exact replica of an original promotional snap that features actress Anjelica Huston dressed as the gothic matriarch.
Adding, “I’ve always been very lucky to have characters that people really love. I think about some people that can’t shake really bad images and I’m glad I avoided them”. People notes that the actress welcomed a son with husband James Heerdegen back in August.
How fitting for a working mama whose next project includes a role in the star-studded Mother’s Day.

We think now is an appropriate time to formally call for the return of Christina Ricci as Wednesday Addams!
