Christopher Biggins ‘sorry’ for Aids remarks which sparked CBB removal
“Then I said to her that there were a lot of bisexuals who went to these countries and had sex, and then took it back to their wives or lovers and gave them the virus”.

Biggins said: “Gays had been really badly treated, then suddenly they became respected”.
Graziano said she had been told by an unnamed former Central Intelligence Agency agent that “they gave it (Aids) to kill off third world countries”, which Biggins agreed with, stating he thought it was “man-made”. Get Me Out Of Here! winner’s sudden eviction broke on Friday evening, a “transcript” of his most recent remarks began circulating on the internet.
The “joke” was made earlier this week, but producers decided not to air it, with Biggins stating he believes Channel 5 were “trying to protect him” by not including it on the show.
Biggins also made a joke about the Holocaust to former X Factor star Katie Waissel, who is Jewish.
He said: “I found it really comical if I’m honest”.
When asked if he had been referring to gas chambers in Nazi Germany concentration camps, he said: “I suppose I was, yes”.
Over the years, what we’ve learned is that there are some clear differences when it comes to the American and British versions of “Big Brother” when it comes to what you tolerate and don’t tolerate within the house.
“Since entering Big Brother, he has made a number of comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public”, a CBB spokesperson told Mirror Online.
He later told the Sun on Sunday that he had apologised to Waissel in person and that he had been left “mortified” by the incident. Regarding the bisexuality remarks, Renee added: “That upsets me”.
Biggins then completely shocked us by saying: “I think the worst type though is, I’m afraid to say, the bisexuals”.
In the meantime though, there has been much speculation that as Biggins was removed from the house, he has forfeited the fee he would have been paid otherwise.
Biggins replied: “I’ve made three mistakes in here so I’ve been chastised so I’ve become very aware and careful”. Most of my friends are Jewish.
In Saturday’s episode, Big Brother gathered the housemates at the sofas to inform them that Biggins has been removed from the house and will not be returning.

However, while there can of course be no condoning what Biggins is alleged to have said, some CBB viewers have insisted that other housemates have been allowed to remain in the house after being equally as offensive.
