Christopher Biggins sorry for Aids remarks which sparked CBB removal

Big Brother called him into the Diary Room later in the day and noted this comment was the third use of “unacceptable language”, which left them with “no choice” but to remove him from the house.

So we don’t imagine Eamonn Holmes was too happy to be compared to Christopher Biggins.

Prior to his comments, the star was among the favourites to win Celebrity Big Brother, as he previously was crowned the victor of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2007.

But whilst he showed remorse for his comments to Katie, Biggins stood by his controversial views on Aids, after Big Brother rapped him for suggesting that bisexuals were responsible for spreading the disease.

Biggins was kicked out after he made the remark to Jewish contestant Katie Waissel in scenes which were not aired on TV.

Today he added “If people are removed for saying things that viewers could find offensive, surely the Big Brother house should be empty now”, which prompted Biggins himself to reply “thanks all my love biggins”.

But while Biggins clearly has the propensity to suffer from foot-in-mouth disease, I honestly don’t believe he ever intends to upset anyone.

Biggins said he was “very sorry and very sad” after being removed from the house following his comments about Aids.

Fans of the show had absolutely no idea that the disgraced star was warned last week for telling Katie Waissel: “You better be careful or they’ll be putting you in a shower and taking you to a room”. “You’re stuck in there and you don’t know what’s going to happen next”. When I went in, you’ve cast some hot guys in there, and the girls were making a fuss of me.

‘Our whole family have a proud Jewish heritage and are absolutely disgusted by Biggins.

Biggins also caused offence after he described bisexuality as the “worst type” of sexuality and accused bisexuals of spreading AIDS.

Grant said: “I’ve just become really analytical of my actions and my words”.

The I’m A Celeb star also suggested that controversy is what Big Brother is all about. He has since been banned from hosting events with Stonewall until he says he’s “sorry”. ‘I have a lot of bisexual friends and I’m not in any way a bigoted person’.
