Christopher Guest’s Newest Mockumentary, ‘Mascots,’ Heads To Netflix
Over the past few years, Netflix has done a great job of establishing itself as a purveyor of quality television. Now Christopher Guest is the latest filmmaker to jump over to the world of streaming and he’s got a new movie coming in 2016.

Netflix has made another huge movie pickup with a huge director, writer, and actor!
Netflix has announced that in 2016, the mockumentarian will deliver “Mascots“.
First Adam Sandler, then Brad Pitt and now …
Titled Mascots, the film is another mockumentary from the genre’s auteur, this time following the quirky men and women competing for the prestigious Gold Fluffy Award in the 8th World Mascot Association championships.
Considering its a Christopher Guest film, we’re hoping Mascots will include appearances from regular collaborators Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Micheal McKean, Harry Shearer, Bob Balaban and Fred Willard.

While some of those titles (including Guest’s Mascots) will debut exclusively on Netflix, others are getting simultaneous theatrical releases.
