Chromecast Streaming Media Device

The Chromecast app is completely redesigned and is now available in Google Play and iTunes. Google has also beefed up its library of content with several new apps, including Showtime and soon, Sling TV. Chromecast Audio will also support multi-room streaming at a few point in the future, but it feels however, like a bit of a homebrew work-around. Users plug the device into a speaker’s audio input, then can use their smartphones to control Chromecast-compatible apps such as Spotify or Google Play Music.
