Kaia went on to say that although she does live a jet-setting life with her family, which also includes her dad Rande Gerber, 53, and older brother Presley, 16, in many ways her life isn’t unlike that of an ordinary teenager. “[Kaia is] starting to figure out it’s not such a awful thing”, she explains of her daughter’s striking resemblance.
But, with a book celebrating her career in modelling due out, the 49-year-old has been feeling a bit more open. With appearances in Vogue Italia and a recent walk in the Public School show at New York Fashion week she’s well on her way to following in her mother’s famous footsteps.
However, the iconic beauty, who just published her first coffee table book, Becoming, admitted she “can’t say the same” about her own Instagram habits as Kaia let out a knowing laugh. Richard was trying to give me what I wanted…I wore an Armani suit but I didn’t dream of getting married in a navy suit.
She added, “in terms of modeling if she wants to do it, I wouldn’t dissuade her because it’s been great for me”.
If you’re thinking “too good to be true” – you’re not alone.
Cindy Crawford “learned about how to be famous” from Richard Gere.
“I did a shoot recently with makeup artist Hung Vanngo, and he was teasing me a little, saying “Oh, I know how you 1990s girls like blush.’ And I was like, ‘What?”

“As much as I did the book for my fans who grew up with me, it’s also for those people to share with their daughters the same way I’ve shared it with you”, Cindy revealed in the interview, “Which is why, throughout the process, your opinion was very important to me”.
